Today's Flashback from 1990-Escapade by Janet Jackson

In 1990, Janet Jackson was on fire! She could do no wrong. She had just released her hit album Rhythm Nation and it went straight to the top of the charts. She released the first single, Rhythm Nation and it went to number one. Then she released Miss You Much, again another number one, and for the trifecta, she released Escapade and it too went to the top of the charts. The song was written by Janet and Terry Lewis and Jimmy Jam. She originally was going to cover Martha Reeves Nowhere to Run but decided to write a new song instead. Janet and Terry heard someone use the word escapade in conversation and decided it would make a great title for a song. And it did! Plus the video, look at Janet...she smiles through the entire song. You can hear the smile in her voice! it's perfect Enjoy!!!
