I can't believe I'm writing this, but I am. 90210 is coming back to our TV screens with six members of the original cast. Only this time it's going to be a bit different from the show we watched in the 90's. First off, let me tell you that the returning cast members include Gabrielle Carteris, Brian Austin Green, Jennie Garth, Jason Priestly Ian Ziering and Tori Spelling. Notably missing are Shannen Doherty and Luke Perry, but the door remains open for them to return, and apparently they haven't said a hard no yet. But here's where things get interesting. This is what the official press release says about the show: “The core cast will all play heightened versions of themselves in a brand-new serialized drama — with a healthy dose of irreverence – that is inspired by their real lives and relationships. Having gone their separate ways since the original series ended 19 years ago, Jason, Jennie, Ian, Gabrielle, Brian and Tori reunite when one of them suggests it’s time to get a Beverly Hills, 90210r eboot up and running. But getting it going may make for an even more delicious soap than the reboot itself. What will happen when first loves, old romances, friends and frenemies come back together, as this iconic cast — whom the whole world watched grow up together — attempts to continue from where they left off?” So, are you all in? Will you give this new bizarre, not quite reality but kinda like reality 90210 a try, or is this not your thing? I'll give it a try! I remember watching in the 90's. What about you? Let me know on the TRY Facebook page.
