Social Dilemma-How Early Is Too Early to Make Noise Outside?

Today's social dilemma came from Monica. She was a little upset after being awakened pretty early over the weekend. Here's her email: Hi Jaime I thought this would make a good social dilemma because it happened in my neighborhood this past weekend. I know it was the first fairly nice weekend but I was pretty upset by this. How early is too early to play basketball outside your neighbors window? My neighbors children started at 7am over the weekend. Is that too early?? I think so, but I don't want to be a mean neighbor if everyone disagrees with me. Can you ask this as a social dilemma. I'll be listening. Thanks Jaime ~ Monica. Wow, well I definitely think that 7am is too early on the weekend to be making any kind of noise outside. Most of us work hard all week and want a little bit of time to sleep in. I would say 9am is fine, but definitely not 7. But that's just me. Truth is, for me, I'm up by 6am on the weekends anyway, but that's just because 6 is sleeping in for me. But I still think 7am is too early. What about you, what do you think?
