Carly Simon started singing when she was a kid with her sisters. Her father was the infamous Simon of Simon and Schuester Publishing, so lots of famous people were always hanging out at her house. She and her sisters would sing for them. In the 60's, they started a group together, but it really didn't go anywhere despite the fact that all three were incredible singers.
