After 16 Seasons, Adam Levine Is Leaving The Voice!

It's finally over after 16 seasons. Adam Levine has announced that he is leaving "The Voice." Adam shared the news of his departure on Instagram and in a lengthy post, he thanked the producer, the network, his fellow coaches and host Carson Daly. Alongside a picture of the original coaches on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine, he wrote: "About eight years ago,Mark Burnett convinced us to sign up for this show where you sit in a big red chair with your back turned away from the singers on the stage. "First, thank you must go to Mark. We had no idea what we were doing or where it was going. After the first day of shooting, I sat there, stunned. I said to myself 'there's some magic here. Something is definitely happening. It went on to be a life-shaping experience that will be close to my heart forever. "Thank you, NBC for signing me up. I am truly honored to have been a part of something I'll always cherish for the rest of my life. Thank you to every single coach I ever sat in those chairs with. That is a shared experience that is singularly ours. We have that for life. Thank you to everyone who supported this long strange and amazing left turn into a place I never thought I'd go." During his time on the show, Adam mentored three winning talent:Javier Colon (season 1),Tessanne Chin (season 5) and Jordan Smith (season 9). Former coach Gwen Stefani (and girlfriend of Blake Shelton) will return to take over Levine's chair. Stefani is dating Shelton, whom she met during her time on the show. Adam was reported to not be a fan of the new Live Cross Battles in the show. In this new round, two coaches pick a talent to go head to head against another team's talent. The viewer votes the best performance.  Will this change how you feel about the show? Will you still watch? I will. What about you? Let me know on the TRY Facebook page
