Everything old really is new again. NBC Universal announced yesterday that they are in the process of putting together a sequel TV series to the 1980's sitcom Punky Brewster. Punky Brewster starred seven year old Soleil Moon-Frye as the spunky foster child of the late George Gaynes. Well, the sequel would follow the original Punky, again played by Moon-Frye, as a single mother of three who meets a little girl that reminds her of her younger self. I would definitely tune in, at least to the first episode. Punky Brewster was adorable. And if you want to see what she looks like now, look no further.
