Today is the 75th anniversary of D-Day. World leaders marked the day earlier thanking all the brave men and women who risked and gave their lives to defeat Nazi Germany. I just wanted to take a minute to thank my dad and my uncles who fought in WWII. My dad was a Navy man, who literally left high school so he could join the war effort. My uncles signed up and were on the front lines. The bravery they and everyone who served showed can't be put into words. They fought for their country without thinking twice. And they were proud to do it. I'm proud to be a part of a family of people who were willing to put their lives on the line so that freedom would always win. May we never forget and always honor their bravery, their patriotism and their humility.
