We all know that June is Pride Month, and the Capital Region will be celebrating in style this weekend with events going on Saturday and Sunday. Saturday morning you can participate in the Capital Pride Rainbow 5K at Jennings Landing at 8am. On Sunday, the big festivities take place with the Capital Pride Parade kicking off at noon on State Street to Lake to Madison to Washington Park. Then the Capital Pride Festival kicks off in Albany's Washington Park at 1pm with entertainment, food, vendors and more. R&B singer Mya will be performing and our sister station KISS 102.3 will be there hosting the event. Pride is always a lot of fun! It's a great event for everyone. And it's going to be a beautiful day for it, so head to the park for all the fun!
