Tonight's Alive at Five with Travie McCoy is Moving to the Rain Location!

 

Tonight's Alive at Five will still go on because rain does not stop a party in the Capital Region!! The concert is just being moved to the rain location which is the Corning Preserve Boat Launch at Water and Colonie Streets under the 787 overpass. The main performer is Travie McCoy of Gym Class Heroes. You know him from his big hit several years ago called Billionaire. June 20: Slick Rick the Ruler, regarded as "hip-hop's greatest storyteller" with DJ TGIF and Giant Gorilla Dog Thing. June 27: Head-banging 1980s rockers Quiet Riot with Albany rockers Bad Mothers.

July 11: Culture, reggae harmony formed in the '70s, with Jojo Romero & Nightshift. July 18: Lettuce, a six-member funk/jazz/soul/experimental collective. Opening is Jaw Gems.

July 25: Saratoga Springs' Wild Adriatic, recently named Rock/Pop Artist of the Year at the inaugural Capital Region Thomas Edison Music Awards ("The Eddies"). Co-headlining are Jocelyn & Chris Arndt Band. Hasty Page opens the show.

Aug. 1: Marco Benevento, pianist and indie rock singer-songwriter, with CTRL Control (former Rival Galaxies).
