L.T.'s Grille in Niskayuna is set to be featured on the Food Network, but that might not be a great thing. They're going to be featured on the show Restaurant: Impossible which is basically a show that takes struggling restaurants and tries to make them over in 48 hours. Robert Irvine is the host. All sounds good, right? Well, here's the problem. The way they make over the restaurants is by getting local workers to donate their time just for the opportunity to be on television That means they're looking for skilled plumbers, electricians, contractors, painters and more. They are looking for skilled workers, but will accept applications from just about anyone. Then if you want to be part of the "afterparty" dinner at the restaurant, you will have to pay for your meal. That doesn't sound fair at all, but apparently that's how it all works If you're interested in donating your time and skills to the L.T.'s makeover, it will happen on July 10th and 11th with all shifts being covered. If you're interested in volunteering, just click here for the info. And if you're interested in eating at the afterparty, click here.
