Yesterday was a beautiful day in the Capital Region, but I have to tell you, I spent the morning and early afternoon inside watching the finals of Women's World Cup Soccer! And I am so glad I did. I'm the first to admit that I don't understand soccer as much as I would like to, but I did understand that Team USA was playing the Netherlands for the Championship! And watching the USA women do their thing was AMAZING!!!! They pretty much had control of the game throughout and ultimately came away the victors with the score of 2-0. What was really fun was that my niece was watching the game (she's 13), and she and I were on the phone screaming in joy over the win! I love it when we can get behind American's team! And what's really fun is that there will be a big victory parade through the streets of Manhattan on Wednesday! I'll be watching that on TV too! What about you? Did you watch?
