Paul McCartney fans may not have to wait much longer for a follow-up to 2018’s “Egypt Station.” The music legend says that he’ll “hopefully” have new music out soon. In an interview with The Mirror, McCartney says that inspiration for good material can come “out of nowhere,” like during sound check. In fact, he thinks some of his band’s sound check jams are good enough to make an album out of. “Some of them are really good and they could fool you into thinking that’s a real song,” he adds. “It’s like a little treasure trove! Writing music is still a thrill.” So we'll keep our fingers crossed that Paul puts together some of those sound check songs along with other new ones and we'll get that new album! Remember, Egypt Station was Paul's first album to ever debut at number one. I'm sure he'll want to follow that up as soon as possible!
