Social Dilemma-Is It Okay To Take Your Son Into the Ladies Room?

Today's social dilemma came about because of something I have seen online the past couple of days. It resonated with me because I took care of my nephew through the ages one through seven before he moved away. It was always an issue when he had to go to the bathroom when we were out because I would NEVER let him go into the men's room alone so I took him into the women's room with me. When he was young, like up to the age of four, nobody had a problem with it, but from the age of four through seven, I would get the dirtiest looks from other women, and sometimes women would even say, get your boy out of the ladies room. Now, when I was reading about it online, I saw that there were many people who thought it was horribly wrong to bring your son into the Womens Room over the age of four. I think that's crazy. If there's not a family bathroom, where else are they supposed to go?? Into the Mens Room alone??? No way. Yet there were plenty of people who thought that was the way to go. So what do you think? Is it okay to bring your son into the Womens Room if he's five, six or seven? When is the age you should let him go into the mens room alone? I look forward to hearing what you think?
