Social Dilemma-Should Pumpkin Spice Flavor Be Around All Year?

Today's social dilemma came about because when I was on vacation last week on Long Beach Island, there was a great ice cream place called Skipper Dipper. The lines would literally be out the door and around the block every night for this place. They had the best ice cream. But one of the things I noticed was that they had pumpkin ice cream. This seemed so out of place to me. Here it was sunny and 90 every day, and people were eating pumpkin ice cream. I asked the folks who worked there and they said that pumpkin was one of their most popular flavors. They said they used to only sell it September through November, but now they have it year round because people love it. This seems bizarre to me. I love egg nog but the thought of drinking it in the summer feels a little yucky. I don't get it. But I wanted to know if people here in the Capital Region were like the people on vacation in LBI. Would you want to have pumpkin spice coffee all year? Would you eat pumpkin ice cream during the summer? Pumpkin spice muffins all year?? What do you think? Let me know on the TRY Facebook page
