Social Dilemma-Should Houseguests Make the Bed After They Sleep In It?

Today's social dilemma came about after a conversation with a neighbor of mine, Bonnie. We met out in the street yesterday when we were both getting our mail, and we started chatting and catching up. Anyway, Bonnie told me that she had a friend staying with her from out of town for the past two days, and the friend left that morning. I said it's always nice to be able to get together with friends that live far away. But the one thing Bonnie was stuck on was the fact that her friend/houseguest did not make the bed in the morning....either day! Bonnie thought it was incredibly rude. I didn't think it was a big deal, especially on the day she was leaving because you're just gonna strip the bed anyway. But Bonnie was adamant! If you are staying at someone's house, you should ALWAYS make the bed, even if you know it's going to be pulled apart as soon as you leave. As someone who only half makes my own bed everyday, I didn't think it was a big deal, and I've had plenty of houseguests that haven't made the bed while they were staying. I figure the guest room is their room while they're at my house so they can do what they want. So I promised Bonnie I would bring it up today. So what do you think?
