A few weeks ago, there were rumors flying that Saved By the Bell would be back. Well now we know those rumors are true!! The show is getting a revival on the new NBC Universal streaming service called Peacock. Original cast members Elizabeth Berkley and Mario Lopez will be back for the new episodes, while other castmembers like Mark Paul Gosselaer and Tiffini Theisen are in talks to return. As for the plot, the revival will find California governor Zack Morris, yep Zack Morris in hot water for closing too many low-income high schools. When he suggests sending the affected students to the highest-performing schools in the state — including Bayside High — the influx of new students “gives the overprivileged Bayside kids a much-needed and hilarious dose of reality.” This according to an article on TVLine. We can also look forward to shows like a Battlestar Galactica reboot and a Punky Brewster revival. Soleil Moon Frye is coming back to play Punky. And there's even talk of an Office reboot. We'll keep our eyes and ears open for that! Are you exciting about this new streaming service? Would you watch these shows? Let me know on the TRY Facebook page.
