Social Dilemma-Should Parents with Crying Baby Be Kicked Out of The Movies

Today's social dilemma is about what to do at the movie theater when there's a crying baby. This the email I received from Morgan: Hi Jaime. I went to see "Joker" last night with some friends. Throughout the first half of the movie there was a couple with a CRYING BABY! It was unbelievable, and it was totally ruining the movie for us. So I went and tattled to the manager who promptly asked them to leave (there was a rule of no babies in an R rated movie). I was really satisfied with myself for getting the crying baby out of the theater. But then I saw them in the lobby a few minutes later when I went to use the restroom. They were extremely disappointed and seemed like their night had been completely ruined. I even heard the husband say "So what are going to do now?" Suddenly I felt awful about it. Did I do the right thing? Help me out Jaime ~ Morgan. Hmm, I think maybe I would have asked them to bring the baby out of the theater so at least one of them could stay and watch the movie.
