If you were watching Jeopardy last night, you saw a beautiful heartfelt moment during Final Jeopardy. Keep in mind, this is the Tournament of Champions. During Final Jeopardy, contestant Dhruv Gaur didn't know the answer so instead of putting nothing down, he simply wrote, "We Love You Alex. As you can see in the video, Alex who usually always keeps his composure got choked up and had to take a second to move on with the game. The audience also was moved by the statement. On Twitter last night, Dhruv said why he did it. “Alex had just shared with us that he was reentering treatment for pancreatic cancer. We were all hurting for him so badly,” he wrote. “When Final Jeopardy came up, I could’ve tried to puzzle it together, but really, just kept thinking about Alex, and thought he should know. I’m just very grateful I got the opportunity to say what I know everyone was thinking. Sending all the love. #weloveyoualex” After that, We Love You Alex was trending on Twitter all night. And it's the truth. We do all love Alex, and continue to wish him the best. Check out the video. It was beautiful.
