This is pretty exciting news if you're a fan of the Tipsy Moose Tavern and Tap. They started out in Latham several years ago and the restaurant/pub became very successful. Because of that, last year they opened a second location in Troy, which is also very successful. Well now comes word that a THIRD Tipsy Moose will be opening early next year in Albany on New Scotland Avenue. The New Tipsy Moose will be at the location that formerly housed the Capitol City Gastropub at 261 New Scotland Avenue. The owners and chef promise that the atmosphere and the food will be the same that you find in both of the other Tipsy Moose locations. Because of that the former Gastropub will have to undergo major renovations to give it that woodsy Adirondack feel. But if you love Tipsy Moose, soon you'll be able to hang at a new location!!
