WNYT Meteorologist Greg Pollak is Leaving For Warmer Pastures!

Here in the Capital Region we become very attached to our meteorologists (and news people too). Well some sad news came down yesterday. Greg Pollak, meteorologist on WNYT will be leaving the Capital Region and the station for San Antonio, Texas. Greg has accepted a position there and will be heading out soon as his last day at Channel 13 will be on November 29th. This is what Greg wrote about his experience and his decision on his Facebook page. "This decision was not an easy one, but my wife and I found that this move will be a good fit for us and an advancement in our careers. It has been a pleasure serving this community and getting to know many of you. There is something about the camaraderie and genuineness of the people of the Capital District that is so unique and we will not be able to replace it. I want to thank all of you for the support and commitment you have shown me. I hope you will continue to follow me on my journey for weather information, photos, videos and cheesy puns. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart." We will certainly miss him, but we wish him well!!! Good l
