Today's Flashback from 1986-Sara by Starship

This song was Starship's second number one hit after We Built This City. Obviously Jefferson Airplane had plenty of hits, but the newly minted Starship came into it's own with those two songs. On this particular song, Grace Slick only sings backup. The song was written for Mickey Thomas' wife at the time Mickey is the one singing lead on the song. You'll see the video prominently features actress Rebecca DeMornay who was a big star at the time with her role in Risky Business. The video appears to be about a twister that came in the main characters life when he was a little boy, and his relationship with DeMornay. Check it out for yourself!
