You Want Good Fish During Lent, Here's Where To Go In the Area!

Over the course of the next forty days, anyone who honors the season of Lent will be looking for good fish places to eat on Fridays. Well, lucky for us, we live in the Capital Region and there are lots of great places to get fish and fish fry's over the course of the next month and a half. For instance, there's Ted's Fish Fry, with locations in Troy, Watervliet, Latham, Albany and Clifton Park. So good!! I live in the East Greenbush area so I had to Off Shore Pier on Route 4 in Rensselaer. There you can get some great fish, and they have their own fish market, so you can get your own to cook at home (I made great Tilapia last night!); In Latham, on Route 7, there's Hooked Fish Fry, which is located in the Galleria. GREAT fish!! In Clifton Park, there's Harbor House Fish Fry. Otis and Oliver's in Latham has great fish and chips, as does The Olde English Pub in Albany and don't forget Anker's in Schenectady.
