Social Dilemma-Will You Go To the Beach This Weekend?

Now that we know that a lot of our local beaches will be reopening this weekend for the holiday. Our social dilemma is about them. Here's the email I got a couple of days ago. Hi Jaime, I love listening to your dilemma every morning and I wanted to ask about one. Well, it's a dilemma in my house. My husband and the kids want to go to Grafton beach this weekend for the holiday. I would love to go to the beach, but I think it's going to be crowded, even at half capacity, plus with no concessions and wearing a mask when you can't be six feet from others, I don't feel like dealing with all that. They keep telling me this is our new world and we have to learn to live in it. I don't mind wearing a mask when I'm out shopping or anything like that, but at the beach?!? I just don't want to do it. I'll be happier in my backyard. What do you think? We'll be listening like we do everyday. Thanks Jaime, have a great weekend ~ Julia. Hmm, I myself won't be going to the beach this weekend, but that's only because I don't think the water will be warm enough to swim in. I was speaking to my doctor the other day, and he was saying the mask is our new normal, and we all just have to get used to it. So I'm sure at some point this summer I will go to the beach and wear my mask because that's how we all protect each other while still being able to enjoy life again. So I'm all about the mask, on the beach and everywhere else. So I'm with the rest of Julia's family. I say go to the beach and bring the mask. What do you think?
