Altamont Fairgrounds Hosting Drive Thru Food Fest With Fair Foods!!

I just love this idea!! The Altamont fairgrounds are hosting a drive-thru Food Festival of all our favorite fair foods every weekend in July! (July 10-12, 17-19, and 24-26). The hours are 4-8pm on Friday, noon to 7pm on Saturday and noon to 6pm on Sunday. Obviously we are unable to have our usual fairs due to the Covid pandemic but this is a great way for us to get our fix of fair food while staying safe and socially distanced. Every week, you'll have the opportunity to drive up to each vendor and order, whether it's Fried Dough, Corn Dogs, Gyros, Cotton Candy, Bloomin' Onions, Ribbon Chips, Kettle Corn or more. Then you will park and someone will bring your food to your car. You can choose to tailgate and stay socially distanced in the parking lot, or eat at one of the picnic tables there, or just bring the food home. I think this is fantastic.
