Well as you can see from the chart below, once again the Capital Region has the highest number of positive Covid cases in the State. Part of the reason is that Fourth of July party that happened on Hudson Street, which is still having negative effects. People who attended that party brought the virus home to their families and there are still people being infected as a result. Another big reason is the Troy Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in South Troy which had 22 positive cases overnight. That brings their total to 26. That number is what has brought the Rensselaer County number up to 7.8. Overall the county is at 2.1 while the next highest region is Mid-Hudson with only a 1.3.
