If you've ever vacationed in the Outer Banks, you know the joy of Duck Donuts! Duck Donuts is a donut shop that started in the town of Duck in the OBX. They now have locations up and down the east coast, but none here in the Capital Region.....until now!! The first Capital Region location of Duck Donuts is being developed in Latham Farms! No exact word on when it will open, just a notice saying it's "coming soon." So what makes Duck Donuts different from any other Donut shop. Well, at Duck Donuts, they decorate your donuts to order. They have about 20 different options for coatings, topping and just about anything you can think of. When I was in the Outer Banks several years ago, the line would always be out the door every morning. That will probably happen when this new location opens here too.
