Rod Stewart Says Elton John Turned Down His Offer to End Their Feud

Rod Stewart is opening up about his relationship with Elton John and it seems as though they are still on the outs.  The two stars had a falling out last year after Rod criticized Elton’s farewell tour, and also suggested Elton’s biopic “Rocket Man” was “not flattering.” In a new interview with UK presenter Chris Evans (not Captain American Chris Evans) for his “How To Wow” podcast, Rod said he tried to reach out to his former friend and bury the hatchet, but Elton was having none of it.  “We don’t talk to each other anymore. Big falling out,” Rod said. “Last time I emailed him I said, ‘I’ve got this football pitch, would you like the boys to come up?’ You know, ’cause they both love football.”  Rod says the invite, meant for Elton’s two sons Zachary and Elijah, went unanswered. Let's hope these two superstars can get it together and get past their differences. We hate to see friendships die.
