Every morning when I drive to work, I go over the Patroon Island Bridge. And I always look off to my left to see the Corning Tower. I love seeing the words NY Tough in the building lights along with a heart. It reminds me how proud I am in to live in NYS. Now don't get me wrong. I've had plenty of problems with some of the laws in the state, and with the taxes in the state, but overall, I am proud to be a New Yorker. Born and bred. There are many other states I love, but this will always be home. And I'm proud of it, and of being NY Tough. So next time you're driving at night or early morning, make sure you check out the Corning Tower. It's a nice reminder that when we all work together, we can do great things!
