Today's Pet of the Week from the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society is Lilly. Lilly is a 7 year old rottie mix, and man is she a trip. At 108 pounds, she sure can look menacing, but once you are her friend, you are her friend for life. Lilly's favorite activities include hanging out on the couch, snoozing in weird spots, going on short walks (that can be accompanied by rolling around in the grass), and eating peanut butter. Lilly is very much a girl's girl. We don't know what happened in her life before coming to us, but she has a very strong dislike for men. She has made friends with about three men since she has been with us, so she is really looking for a female-only household. Lilly is currently living with another dog (however they don't interact much, but that's her foster sister's wish), and while she has lived with cats before, she likes them a little too much for comfort. Because of her size, Lilly would most likely do best in a home with older children. She is definitely in need of a weight-loss plan, but we love her at any size. If you are looking for a female-loving stubborn goofball, Lilly might be the perfect dog for you! Lilly will be worth your time...you'll see!!
