I loved this movie. I believe I cut out the collars on several of my sweatshirts because of it. A TV show based on the 1983 movie "Flashdance" is currently int he works for the upcoming streaming service Paramount+. If you haven't heard, CBS All Access will become Paramount + next year. One of the original producers is onboard for the revival . . . but it's unclear if any of the old cast members will be involved. They've also made an interesting alteration to the story. Instead of a welder who dreams of being a dancer, like in the original, we get a stripper who dreams of being a ballet dancer. I'm no prude, but I'm not a fan of the change in the storyline. I feel like it's just a way to have some sexy seductive stuff on TV. As I recall the original was sexy without there being strippers. I'm not being judgmental, just giving my opinion. What do you think? Will you watch?
