Well this is pretty cool....and creepy, and a little scary. There will be a full moon on Halloween (this Saturday) for the first time since 1944! And it won't happen again until 2039. It's a blue moon for the month of October (that's the second full moon of the month). As of right now, the skies look like they will be clear for Halloween night so a full moon just adds to the ambiance of Halloween. Now with Covid in play, who knows how many people will be out and if kids will be trick or treating, but I do know there are some safe ways to celebrate and just having some spooky fun in your backyard on Halloween with a full moon could do it. Hide some candy around the yard and let your kids try to find it by moonlight. Or just sit outside and give them all some candy and tell creepy stories by moonlight. There are all kinds of safe, fun ways to celebrate Halloween this year, and it looks like nature has just given us a helping hand to do it!
