Well, here we go. Looks like we'll see the first snow of the season falling in the Capital Region overnight. We'll be getting the remnants of Hurricane Zeta mixed with another storm system and boom! here comes the snow. So while we're seeing rain today, overnight, when it gets colder that rain will mix with and then turn to all snow before the sun rises on Friday. The hill and mountain areas could see 3-6 inches, but locally, we'll probably only see about an inch, and most of that will accumulate on the grass. Still you want to be prepared, so set that alarm a little early tomorrow so you'll have time to brush any snow off your car. And of course, you'll want to take it easy as you head into work. So whoever guessed October 30th for the first snowfall, congratulations, you win!
