What Will Be the Fate of Anna Faris' Character on "Mom?"

Ever since we found out that Anna Faris was not returning to the TV show Mom, we've all been wondering, what's going to happen to her character? Were the producers going to throw her in front of a train? Was she going to pass away in some bizarroland TV way? Was it going to be a sad lingering death? Or was Christy going to be allowed to have a happy life? Well it looks like we know part of the answer. The producers have said that they believe that we the fans will be very happy with Christy's fate. In their words to TV Line, Gemma Baker, the producer said “One of the beautiful things about recovery is that quite often people’s lives get bigger and better than they could have imagined, And that will be Christy’s experience. We are pretty sure that our audience, many of whom have been rooting for Christy since the pilot, will be happy for her and satisfied by her new path.” I for one am glad to hear that. And I can't wait to find out exactly what they mean by that when the show premieres on Thursday, November 5th on CBS. I'll be watching, what about you?
