We have such a sweet big girl kitty from the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society this week as our pet of the week! Cali is a 12 year old tortoiseshell "tortie". She was surrendered to us because her family was moving and couldn't take her with them. She is one of the sweetest ladies you will ever meet. She is a purr machine, and seeks out affection and belly rubs from humans. She has lived with kids and a dog before, but never lived with other cats. Cali is a big girl at 21 pounds. Because of this, she is on a special diet to help her lose some weight. This diet will have to be continued in her forever home, but it is easily managed. She is looking to be someone's weighted blanket or lap warmer this winter! Let's find this sweet girl her "furever" home!
