Fans are getting a peek at Peter Jackson’s upcoming Beatles documentary. Paul McCartney has taken to Twitter to share a behind-the-scenes clip of the doc, “Get Back.” In the video, Jackson explains the process of making the Beatles doc, which he describes as a “montage” of videos that show the true “spirit” of the band. He also gives fans a sneak peek at what they’ll be seeing, including previously unseen footage of the banned’s 1969 rooftop concert on London’s Savile Row, the band goofing around in rehearsal, Linda McCartney chatting with Yoko Ono, and more. Jackson reveals he’s been pulling from 56 hours of never-before-seen Beatles footage… on top of a whopping 150 hours of rare audio, all of which has been restored. He’s already “halfway through the edit,” but the doc won’t be out until 2021. Check out the clip below.
