Okay, so now we know that Congress has finally passed a Covid stimulus package. We also know that most Americans will be eligible for a $600 stimulus check. But really who is going to get it, and when is it due to come. Well, According to our Treasury Secretary, it could come as early as next week. But not everyone is eligible for the payment, but some households may get more than one. If the government follows the same guidelines as last time when we received a $1200 check, these are the people who will be getting the money
If you make $75,000 or less annually, you'll get the full $600 check
If you make between $75,000 and $95,000, you'll get a portion of the money but not the entire $600.
If you file with your spouse or a partner and together you make less than $150,000 annually, you'll both get a $600 payment If you make more than that, you won't be eligible.
If you are claimed as a dependent on another taxpayer's return, you will get no check
However, if you have a dependent child or children, you'll likely get an extra $600 per child.
