Looks like the “Friends” reunion is really going to happen this time. Lisa Kudrow – during an appearance on the Literally! With Rob Lowe podcast – said that shooting was set for “early spring.” She also said that she and her co-stars –Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Matthew Perry, Matt LeBlanc, and David Schwimmer – have already shot some scenes. And for the record, the actress also known as Phoebe says that this isn’t a reboot at all. “It's us getting together, which just doesn't happen a lot and has never happened in front of other people since 2004 when we stopped,” she noted. The special was originally supposed to debut last May to coincide with the launch of HBO Max, but, due to the Covid pandemic, the gang couldn't get together for obvious reasons so filming was postponed. A new release date has not been announced.
