Emmy Winning Actor Hal Holbrooke Has Passed Away at Age 95

Emmy winning actor Hal Holbrook has passed away at the age of 95. Apparently he died on January 23rd, but his family just released the news yesterday. Hal was known for playing Mark Twain in a one man show for over 40 years. He also starred in movies like Magnum Force, Capricorn One, The Star Chamber, Wall Street and All the President's Men, which he garnered an Oscar nomination for playing Deep Throat. On television, he often showed up on Designing Women as Dixie Carter's boyfriend. He was married to Carter in real life for 26 years. He also was on Sons of Anarchy, Evening Shade and The West Wing. He was an incredibly actor and will be missed. Rest in peace Mr. Holbrook
