The Masked Singer is due to start filming season five this week, but unfortunately, Nick Cannon will not be on set as the host. Nick has tested positive for Covid-19, and therefore, must take time to get better and quarantine. So when the Masked Singer returns to our TV screens next month, we'll see Niecy Nash as the guest host for the first few episodes. Niecy is a very talented actress/comedian. She's starred in Claws and Getting on and was a guest panelist on The Masked Dancer. I think Niecy will do a fantastic job. So we wish Nick Cannon the best and hope for a speedy recovery, but until then it's good to know that The Masked Singer is in some very good hands. Again, the show will return in March.
