Well this is upsetting news. If you're like me, a big fan of Fleetwood Mac, this is disheartening. If you've never seen Fleetwood Mac in concert, or wanted to see them one more time, you may be out of luck. In a new interview with the BBC, Christine McVie appears to say she doubts the group will tour again. Christine shared on “Sounds of the 70s with Johnnie Walker” that she doesn’t think Stevie Nicks or John McVie would be up for another tour. "That’s an impossible question to even answer. If we do (tour again), it would be without John and without Stevie, I think," she said. "I think I'm getting a bit too old for it now - especially having had a year off. I don't know if I could get myself back into it again. But not all her bandmates would be against it. “I know Mick (Fleetwood) would do it in a lightning strike, but I couldn't possibly say,” she says. “We're certainly not touring this year either." As for Christine’s ex John not wanting to tour anymore, she notes, “He's feeling a little bit frail. He was ill. He's fine but he just hasn't got the heart for it anymore,” adding, “He wants to get on his boat. You reach a certain age where you go, 'Hey, I'm not gonna bust a gut doing this anymore.’” I certainly understand how they feel. Touring is not easy, but man, never seeing Fleetwood Mac live again is just one more thing I think we can blame on Covid. Hopefully they'll still continue to put out new music And as we all know, they could change their minds as many acts have over the years
