Paul McCartney has always said he never kept a diary so coming out with an autobiography might be difficult. Well, Paul is giving us as close to an autobiography as he possibly can. The new book called The Lyrics will be out in November and it's being called a "self portrait in 154 songs." The book will cover songs that he wrote as far back as when he was 14 years old to now. They will not be in chronological order, but the book will jump around from time period to time period covering his childhood, his time with the Beatles, his time with Wings and his solo work. Basically the book will tell the stories behind the songs, why they were written, how he was inspired and who he was inspired by and what Paul thinks of them now. The book will also include stuff from Paul's personal archive, like never before scene drafts, photos and more. Again, the book will be out on November 2nd. I can't wait to read it. What about you?
