The 78th annual Golden Globe Awards are happening on Sunday. Netflix dominates in both fields with a total of 44 nominations, 20 of those in the TV categories. “The Crown” has scored the most noms in TV with six, followed by fellow Netflix titles “Ozark” and “Ratched,” Disney-Plus’ “The Mandalorian,” and HBO’s “Lovecraft County.” “Schitt’s Creek” sweeped the Emmys, and is now doing the same with a nomination for Best Comedy as well as well as acting nods for stars Catherine O’Hara, Eugene Levy, Daniel Levy and Annie Murphy. This year, the kudofest will go bicoastal for the first time, with dynamic duo Amy Poehler and Tina Fey returning to host for the first time since 2015 There will be some actors/actresses live with Tina and Amy. Amy will be broadcasting from the Beverly Hilton in LA and Tina will be at the Rainbow Room in NYC. Other than that some of the nominees will be at home zooming in. Should be interesting.
