Yesterday we got some really great news from the CDC about new guidelines for fully vaccinated people. Most importantly, people who are fully vaccinated can get together with other fully vaccinated people inside without wearing a mask or social distancing! That means the time has come when we can see each other again, and hug each other again, but remember, all people must be fully vaccinated! Now the CDC also said that vaccinated people can also get together in a single household with people considered low risk for severe illness from Covid without masks and social distancing. That means grandmas and grandpas can finally see their grandchildren again without masks and social distancing. They can hug them again! This is why it's so important, that when you become eligible you get your vaccine. This is the way to getting back to some sense of normalcy!
Now the CDC is still recommending that fully vaccinated people still wear masks in public, avoid large gatherings and continue to social distance while out in public. And just for the record, fully vaccinated means two weeks after you've received either your second Moderna or Pfizer vaccine or two weeks after your Johnson and Johnson single shot.
And the CDC is still recommending against any unnecessary travel. But at least we're on our way. I can't wait to be fully vaccinated so I can see my nieces and nephews again. What a beautiful thing that will be!! Check out the complete list of guidelines from the CDC by clicking here
