GREAT NEWS!!! Just yesterday the Governor announced that Covid 19 vaccinations are now open to those 60 and older. Previously you had to be 65 and older. Of course, it also remains open for teachers, front line workers, essential workers and those with comorbidities. As of 8 this morning those 60 and over can make an appointment for the vaccine on the State website and at pharmacies around the state. To help you out, here is the link to the NYS website to get you started! And even if it says "no appointments available" if you keep trying for a little while one will open up, so stay persistent You can also go on the websites for Walgreens, CVS, Rite-Aid, Price Chopper/Market 32 and Hannaford to see if they have slots open. Let's get vaccinated so we can start getting back to our new normal!
