Spring begins on Saturday and there are more and more signs here in the Capital Region that the warmer weather brings all kinds of good food and ice cream. So far, we've already seen the opening of Jack's Drive In in Wynantskill, Snowman Ice Cream in Lansingburgh, Martha's Ice Cream in Lake George and Guptil's Coney Express in Latham. Now comes word that Kurver Kreme in Colonie is opening tomorrow (March 18th), Jumpin' Jacks in Scotia is opening on March 25th, and Kay's Pizza in Averill Park is opening on March 28th! These are all great foods and ice creams we only get to enjoy in the warmer weather here in the area. So the fact that they are all opening or getting ready to open is a great sign that Spring is here!!!! I will head to every single one of these places over the next month or so! I can't wait!!
