Well this is pretty cool! HBO is going to be filming two of their shows here in the Capital Region....Albany and Troy specifically, and they're looking for extras to be in the shows. And yes, it's a paid gig. Grant Wilfley Casting is looking first for extras for the HBO show The Gilded Age which takes place in 1881. Filming is going to take place in Troy in May and June and they are looking for women with long hair in natural colors. The second show they are filming is called The White House Plumbers and it's about the Watergate breakin, so therefore it takes place in the 70's. For that, they are looking for men, women and children to portray 1970's types. That filming will take place in late Summer, early Fall.
