I was very excited yesterday to head to SUNY/Albany to get my second shot for my Covid vaccination. Obviously this was the second time I was at SUNY, and I have to tell you, they run the site like a well oiled machine. Everyone is nice and kind and helpful, and they get you in, make sure you're ready with, and give you your shot. Then you sit in a waiting area for 15 minutes and you're off. It couldn't be easier. I bring it up because I'm really hoping you will go get your vaccination when it's your time. Make the appointment, go, you'll see how simple it is. The more of us that get vaccinated, the quicker we'll be back to some semblence of normal. And isn't that what we all want?? And as far as side effects, I had only a sore arm after the first shot. And today, I feel fine, just a little tired. They did give me the tip of drinking lots of water, which I did all day yesterday and continue to do this morning, so I think that's helping. And even if I did have side effects, feeling tired and achy for 24 hours would be worth it to save lives. Trust me, you feel like a superhero when you walk out. Now I wait two weeks and they I will have full immunity. For the record I received the Pfizer vaccine. So like I said, get your vaccination, so you can be a superhero too!!
