Disney Plus continues to do a great job with their original series. First off, The Mandelorian ended up being a fantastic show based in the Star Wars realm. Then they followed that up with WandaVision from the Marvel universe, and now they're airing The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, also from the Marvel universe. And now comes word that they're in the process of putting together an Obi-Wan Kenobi series that will star Ewan McGregor. Of course Ewan played Ben in the Star Wars prequel movies. Along with Ewan, Hayden Christianson will also reprise his role from the movies as Anakin Skywalker aka Darth Vader. The show sounds like it's going to be great. Other castmembers will include Rupert Friend (Homeland), Kumail Nanjiani (Silicon Valley), Moses Ingram (The Queen’s Gambit), Sung Kang (Power), Simone Kessell (The Crossing), and O’Shea Jackson Jr. Filming will get underway very soon and hopefully we'll have the show before the end of the year!
