Yesterday, CBS announced several renewals for their TV shows, and one of them required a lot of negotiation. NCIS WILL be back for it's 19th season. There was all kind of speculation that the show would not return because star Mark Harmon had made it pretty clear recently that he was ready to put Jethro Gibbs to bed. However, as we said, through negotiations, Harmon and the show will be returning. However, there are still questions. For instance, there's a good chance that Mark Harmon won't appear in every single episode. And will this be NCIS' final season? No way to know just yet, but we'll have to keep our eyes and ears open on that.
As far as other renewals, Blue Bloods, SWAT, Magnum PI, and Bull will all be back along with The Equalizer, FBI, FBI: Most Wanted, Bob Hearts Abishola, The Neighborhood and Young Sheldon. Shows still on the bubble include All Rise, B Positive, Clarice, NCIS: Los Angeles, SEAL Team, The Unicorn and United States of Al. And shows we know are saying goodbye include Mom, NCIS: New Orleans and MacGyver.
