Are you a Law & Order fan? I always loved the original! Jerry Orbach as Lennie Briscoe was the absolute best. And of course I love Law & Order: SVU, and now there's Law & Order: Organized Crime. And along the way there were other good spinoffs like Criminal Intent, and several bad spinoffs like Trial by Jury, Law & Order: LA, True Crime, and Hate Crimes. Well now there's another Law & Order show in the works, and this time the hook is that . . . rather than the prosecution, this one focuses on the DEFENSE.It's even called "Law & Order:For the Defense".
The guy who created "Law & Order", Dick Wolf, says, quote, "We spent the last 30 years on shows that played offense.Now it will be great to play defense."
There's no cast or timeline for the new show yet.
